Discounts, custom emails, and faster unlock - 1.11.0

September 20, 2026

Add drop discounts, customize order emails, unlock with Face ID, and export orders for your books.

Automatic discounts on a drop

Set a percent or fixed discount when you set up a drop so customers see the deal while they order.

What we built

You can add an automatic discount to a whole drop or to individual items. Customers see the sale price while they shop, and the discount is applied when they check out.

Why it matters

Running a special should not mean rewriting every price by hand. One discount on the drop keeps the deal clear and consistent.

How to find it

  • Create or edit a drop
  • Open the discount options on that drop
  • Choose percent or fixed amount and save
  • Publish the drop so customers see the special

Customize customer order emails

Edit the emails customers get when they place an order so they sound like your bakery.

What we built

Under Manage → Customizations you can change the subject and body for key customer emails, preview the default, and save your own wording.

Why it matters

Order emails are often the first thing customers read after they buy. Making them sound like you builds trust without extra work on bake day.

How to find it

  • Open the Manage tab
  • Tap Customizations
  • Choose an email type to edit or preview
  • Save your changes when you are happy with the wording

Unlock with Face ID or fingerprint

Require Face ID or your fingerprint when opening BakeryFlow so your bakery stays private.

What we built

You can turn on biometric unlock so the app asks for Face ID or a fingerprint before showing your bakery data.

Why it matters

Your phone holds customer orders and payment details. A quick biometric check keeps that safer if someone else picks up your phone.

How to find it

  • Open the Manage tab
  • Turn on Biometric unlock
  • Confirm with Face ID or your fingerprint when prompted
  • Next time you open the app, unlock the same way

Export orders for bookkeeping

Download your orders so you can share them with your bookkeeper or drop them into a spreadsheet.

What we built

You can export orders for a date range and get a file ready for accounting—without copying numbers out of the app by hand.

Why it matters

Tax time and monthly books go faster when the order list is already in a file your accountant can use.

How to find it

  • Go to the Orders tab
  • Open export or filters for the date range you need
  • Export the orders file
  • Open or share it from your device
