How-to
How to take bakery pre-orders without DMs.
You do not need a new personality online. You need a link, a close time, and a list. Here is the US home-baker version. Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App are welcome.
The four steps
- Storefront link = register.
- Drop window = hours the register is open.
- Payment on confirmation = no screenshot archaeology.
- Bake list = production.
What to say when you announce
“Saturday pickup. Menu and checkout at this link. I am not taking orders in DMs so nobody gets double-booked.” That sentence saves you an hour.
How to take bakery pre-orders without DMs
- Put one storefront where customers can find it. Create the bakery in BakeryFlow and copy the link. That URL is the only place orders are allowed.
- Open a bake-day window. Set the menu, caps, and pickup windows. Open ordering when you are ready to promise those items.
- Announce the link, not the inbox. Post or text the drop. Tell people to use the link. Do not accept “I’ll take two” in DMs.
- Bake the list. When the window closes, bake the aggregated quantities and mark orders packed and picked up.
