Save sections to reuse
- 1
Open Sections
Go to Manage → Products & Options → Sections.
- 2
Add a section
Tap +, enter a name like Pastries (up to 40 characters), and tap Add section. Each name can only be used once.
- 3
Set the order
Hold the grip next to a section and drag it. This is the order your saved sections are listed in when you arrange a drop.
Rename or delete a saved section
In Sections, tap the ••• button next to a section, then tap Rename or Delete.
- Rename changes the name on every drop that uses it, live drops included.
- Delete asks you to confirm. It's removed from draft drops, and their products in it move to No section.
- Published drops, live or not yet open, and past drops keep a deleted section.
Arrange a drop's menu
- 1
Open Arrange menu
In New drop or Edit Drop, go to Menu, tap On menu, and tap Arrange menu. It shows once 2 or more items are on the menu.
- 2
Add a section
Under Tap a saved section to add it to this menu, tap one of your saved sections. To make a new one, tap Add section at the bottom. New sections are saved to your Sections list too.
- 3
Fill the section
On an empty section, tap Add products, tick the items you want, and tap the Add button. It counts them, like Add 3 products.
- 4
Move items
Tap Move on any item and pick a section, or No section. It goes to the end of the one you pick.
- 5
Reorder items
Hold the grip next to an item and drag it up or down. This works within a section. Use Move to change sections.
- 6
Save
Tap Done, then tap Save Draft, Publish Drop, or Save Changes in the drop. Arrange menu changes aren't saved to the drop until you do.
Section actions on a drop
On Arrange menu, tap the ••• button next to a section:
- Add products: add more of this drop's items to it.
- Rename: renames it on every drop, not just this one.
- Remove from this drop: takes it off this drop only. Its items move to No section, and it stays in your saved Sections.
Reorder sections
With 2 or more sections on the drop, tap Reorder sections at the bottom of Arrange menu. Hold the grip and drag, then tap Done.
What customers see
- Items with no section show first, without a heading. Each section follows with its name as a heading.
- With 2 or more sections, a row of section names stays at the top as customers scroll. Tapping a name jumps to that section.
- Sections with no items don't show.
- A drop with no sections looks the same as it always has.
- In the app, the drop's Menu tab and Bake List use the same headings.
Duplicating a drop
Duplicate Drop keeps the sections, the items in each, and their order. A section you've deleted is left off, and its items move to No section.
