Set a cap per item
When you add an item to a drop, enter the quantity limit: how many loaves, dozens, or boxes you can actually make. The storefront hides the item when that number is reached.
Plan from your oven, not optimism
- Count batches. Two sheet pans of cookies might mean 4 dozen, not 10.
- Leave a small buffer if you are new to drop volume.
- Sold-out items create urgency for your next drop.
Lower a cap mid-drop
If you are running low on ingredients or time, edit the item in your drop and reduce the available quantity. It shows as sold out to new customers.
FAQ
- What happens when something sells out?
- New customers cannot add it to their cart. Existing orders are unchanged.
- Can I leave quantities unlimited?
- You can set a high cap, but we recommend a real limit so you never promise more than you can bake.
